The Pandemic

Things have changed tremendously since the coronavirus hit the US generally and NYC in particular.

We’ve been doing all we can to remain safe. That’s our first priority.  We  have been sheltered I  pla e sin e March and have only recently begun to emerge as NYC gradually reopens.

We are, of course, not offering any services at the present time and likely won’t be for the foreseeable future until there is a vaccine or a treatment for COVID-19.  Broadway is shut down. Shakespeare in the Park is shut  down and it’s likely that there won’t be a Macy’s Thanksgiving  Day Parade this year either.  All of that is trivial given the number of lives lost to this virus.

We never fathomed that a virus from the other side of the world she  upend our way of life and snuff out the lives of so many of our fellow citizens. It’s truly heartbreaking.  We have some loved ones who are essential workers and who have not been able to work remotely from home to stay safe.  It’s heart-breaking but we’re doing all we can to help them stay as safe as possible.  We pray that this plague ends soon.  Too many lives lost; too many people who have lost their livelihoods as a result of coronavirus.

Heaven help us all
